Weekend Coffee Share – 3/12/16

Well, it has been some time.

*settles in with eggnog latte and blueberry scone*

How have you been?

I can’t complain. Work proceeds as usual.

I am happy to say I did win this year’s NaNoWriMo, after last year’s dismal showing. And managed to make it to the All-Nighter we have here. 7 p.m. To 7 a.m. Which I much needed and helped me get over the hump.

But crazy December is on us, leaning into what is hoped will be a much different year of 2017. I refer more to those personalities that we have lost, so many more than seems to be the usual.

I shall shy away from the current political scene. We can all see the new layout of the land. Only thing that matters is how we personally react to the new reality.

I have finally gotten a new phone. My last two were old ones of friends. Woke up one day and discovered phone wouldn’t charge and got hot so off to the store. Still getting used to it. And wondering if there’s any hope of getting the files trapped on the old one.

I still been playing around with the bullet journal. Seeing if can make it work with a cheapy journal before spring for a upgrade for the new year.

Decided to do my own reading challenge on Facebook for next year, roped a few friends into it. Just one or two books a month under broad genres. Work up to that 50 book one been fighting the last couple years.

I loved Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I saw it with me best mate at a theatre where they bring food to your seat as you watch the movie. I had a good hamburger and fries with hot tea. Glad the Wizarding World is off to such a great continuation.

A friend of mine had a video spotlighted on the offical Wizarding World YouTube channel. He did it on cosplaying Newt Scamander.

I’m ready for a refill, can I get you another?

And don’t forget to visit the others.

  2. Congrats on NaNoWriMo! The eggnog latte sounds delicious. Enjoy your new phone. I got a new phone over the weekend and gave my old phone to my daughter. We spent a lot of time transferring files and setting up the new phones as we like them. Good luck with the bullet journal. I started one at the beginning of the year and got away from it but I’m thinking of trying again in 2017.
